Notes
rs13192841 is a SNP in an intergenic region of chromosome 6. Three independent SNPs in the TNFAIP3 region (rs13192841, rs2230926 and rs6922466) were associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) among individuals of European ancestry in a study of 1,200+ patients. For rs13192841, the minor allele was associated with reduced risk (OR 0.72 CI: 0.62–0.83, p = 7.9 × 10e−6. The authors point out that rs13192841 is a "perfect proxy" for rs10499194, which has a similiar reduced risk for rheumatoid arthritis associated with it's minor allele. An association was found between Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and rs13192841.
