Notes

rs1522305 is a SNP in the phenylalanine hydroxylase (PAH) gene. A study of Caucasian cohorts, Bulgarian families, and African American families concluded that the more common rs1522305(G) allele was associated in the first two populations with increased risk for schizophrenia.
