Notes

A small study (40 patients) reported in 2012 that rs2305089(T), also knownn as Gly177Asp, was associated with chordoma development, reporting an odds ratio of 6.1 (CI: 3.1-12.1, p = 4.4 × 10e-9).{PMID|23064415}} However, a 2013 study of 65 skull-base chordoma cases among Chinese patients found no association with rs2305089.
