Notes

rs3114018(C), a variant in the ABCG2 gene, was the most significantly associated with gout in a 2017 study of ~200 Han Chinese patients (OR 3.19, CI:2.24–4.55, p=6.1x10e-11). This study also defined 5 haplotype blocks associated with gout.
