Notes
rs3781719 is a SNP, also known as T-692C, in the calcitonin-related polypeptide alpha CALCA gene. A study of 293 Chinese subjects with essential hypertension (EH) and 208 controls concluded that rs3781719(C) allele carriers were associated with increased EH risk (odds ratio 2.093, CI: 1.317-3.326, p<0.01).
