Notes
rs7961152 has been reported in a large study to be associated with high blood pressure. The risk allele (oriented to the dbSNP entry) is (A); the odds ratio associated with heterozygotes is 1.16 (CI 1.01-1.32), and for homozygotes, 1.47 (CI 1.25-1.74). This SNP was just about the only one tested to replicate as associated with hypertension in a study of 7,551 Koreans patients, with an odds ratio of 1.28 (CI: 1.012-1.636, p=0.04) but only in one of two cohorts.
