Notes
The E32X pathogenic variant in the FLG gene has not been reported previously as a pathogenic variant, nor as a benign variant, to our knowledge. This variant is predicted to cause loss of normal protein function through protein truncation. The E32X variant is observed in 21/66,714 (0.032%) alleles from individuals of European (non-Finnish) background in the ExAC dataset (Lek et al., 2016). We interpret E32X as a variant of uncertain significance. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
