Notes
rs13294895 is a SNP in a region of chromosome 9q31.2 that has been associated with breast cancer. In a pooled study of 52 studies totalling 43,160 breast cancer cases in women of European ancestry, plus a further 5795 cases of Asian ancestry, the rs13294895(T) allele was independently associated with increased risk in Europeans (odds ratio 1.09, CI:1.06-1.12, p = 2.97 × 10e-11) but not in Asians.
