Notes
rs9288516 is a SNP in the XRCC5 gene. A study of ~700 Chinese patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) compared to controls indicated an increased risk for rs9288516(A) carriers (odds ratio 2.02, CI: 1.42-2.86, TA+AA versus TT) even after Bonferroni correction (P(corrected) = 0.002). The effect was more significant in HBsAg infected subjects than non-infected subjects.
