Notes
rs10754339 is a SNP in the V-set domain containing T cell activation inhibitor 1 VTCN1 gene, which is also known as B7-H4. A study of 500 Chinese Han women with breast cancer (and an equal number of matched controls) concluded that the rs10754339(A;G) genotype and G allele showed a significantly increased risk of breast cancer (odds ratio 1.455, CI: 1.119-1.892, and 1.325, CI: 1.073-1.637, respectively). Additionally, the rs10754339(G;G) genotype was significantly associated with lymph node metastasis and PR status, and the G allele and the (A;G) genotype were respectively associated with lymph node metastasis and ER status.
