Notes
rs139709573, also known as Pro155Leu or P155L, is a rare variant in the TM2D3 gene on chromosome 15. At least in Icelanders, although not proven statistically for other Europeans (where it's ten-fold rarer), the rare rs139709573(A) allele was associated with increased risk and earlier onset of late-onset Alzheimer's disease, with an odds ratio of 7.5 (CI:3.5–15.9), p = 6.6x10e-9.dx.doi.org
