Notes
rs147210663, also known as A43T, is a rare variant in the apolipoprotein C3 APOC3 gene. As reported in two large studies published in 2014, rs147210663 is one of several loss of function mutations in the APOC3 gene associated with a >40% lower average triglyceride level in individuals carrying one rs147210663(A) allele and a corresponding decrease in coronary artery disease.
A;G
This variant of one of several known, rare variants in the APOC3 gene that reduce triglyceride levels and thereby risk for coronary artery disease.
