Notes
rs61751103, also known as Q170H or Gln170His, is a SNP in the ADAM metallopeptidase domain 10 ADAM10 gene. The common allele is rs61751103(C) (in the FWD direction, not in the mRNA), encoding the Gln. The rs61751103(G) allele was found in 11 of 16 individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease (average onset age 69.5 years) from seven late-onset AD families. This mutation was also found in at least one unaffected subject, implying incomplete penetrance. This SNP is referred to as i6006818 by 23andMe.
