Notes

rs145518263, also known as R181G or Arg181Gly, is a SNP in the ADAM metallopeptidase domain 10 ADAM10 gene. The common allele is rs145518263(T), encoding the Arg. The rs145518263(C) allele was found in 11 of 16 individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease (average onset age 69.5 years) from seven late-onset AD families. This mutation was also found in at least one unaffected subject, implying incomplete penetrance. This SNP is referred to as i6006817 by 23andMe.
