Notes
rs3804100, also known as 1350T/C, is a SNP in the toll-like receptor 2 TLR2 gene. A study of 700 T1D children, 357 nuclear families with T1D children and 796 children from the 'Environment and Childhood Asthma' study concluded that both type-1 diabetes and allergic asthma were significantly associated with the rs3804100(T) allele.
