Notes
rs200185429, also known as c.412C>T, p.Arg138Ter and R138X, is perhaps the best studied of over 10 loss-of-function variants found in the SLC30A8 gene to reduce risk of developing type-2 diabetes by about 2/3rds (OR:0.34, p=1.7×10e−6) in a large Icelandic study published in 2014.
